Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain for The US female Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold both on the team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze was won by using the balance bar. She became an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. At the 2016, Olympics she won a gold medal for the team event, which brought her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being among the few Americans to win back-to-back team golds. She also won silver medals in the individual all-around event as well as for floor exercise. Three years had passed since she last competed in gymnastics competitions. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. Her favorite event is the flooring exercise. The gymnastics training began when she was two years older. Aly has enrolled in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. She hopes to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the line of socks and leotards in the very near future. Fierce is due to be released later this summer.
